Nathan was first elected to represent Peasedown in 2007.
Nathan was born in Peasedown and studied at Bath Spa University. He lives in Peasedown and runs his own business - Hartley Public Relations. Having grown up in Peasedown St John Nathan is a well known member and activist within the community.
Nathan was first elected as a councillor in 2007 and has taken an active part in public life. He is a member of the Overview and Scrutiny Panel for Children's Services and Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Children's Services.
He was runner up Politician of the Year in the Bath Chronicle People of the Year Awards 2008. He has raised over a thousand pound for Peasedown Youth Centre through initiatives such as running the Bath Half Marathon. He also launched the Youth Community Council in 2007 (which won 'Young Volunteer Team of the Year' at the Chairman's Community Awards 2009). Nathan also co-founded and works with residents to organise Peasedown St John's Party in the Park (which won 'Runner-up Community Event of the Year' in the Somerset Guardian's People of the Year Awards 2009).Finally, Nathan has worked with residents and B&NES Council to plant over 100 trees locally.
