Councillor Tim Ball was reelected to serve the residents of Twerton in 2011. He is also the Cabinet member for Housing.
Tim said: "It is a pleasure to be able to serve the community I live in. I have worked hard for a number of years to ensure that Twerton gets the best possible deal from the Council and I will continue to do so. My aim is to represent the people of Twerton as best I can, and take on board all their issues, complaints, ideas and suggestions."
Tim was born in Bath and now lives on Freeview Road, Twerton with his wife and children. He works as a full time councillor for Twerton, a role which he has held for 22 years.
Tim has taken an active role in public life, as well as being an ex-mayor and ex-chairman of the council, he has also sat on many committees. He is the current Cabinet member for Homes and Planning and is also the Chair of the West of England Infrastructure and Place Making group a part of the Local Enterprise partnership.
Tim works hard to serve the community in Twerton and to make sure that people in Twerton get the best deal from the Council. He strives to run an efficient Council that is truly local; he works to improve public transport and social care for the elderly, young and vulnerable. He also promotes culture, regeneration and active healthy lifestyles in Bath. Finally, Tim endeavours to create safe neighbourhoods and provide affordable housing.
