	Dear All, Apologies, please see now attached The Inspector's Final Report on the Council's Core Strategy, ommitted in error from the Enewsletter sent out yesterday. "Cornerstone" Stone Mines Centre, Opening to the public mid July The Cornerstone Centre, set in the Ralph Allen Yard new Zero Carbon exemplar complex, is to be launched on the 15th July, and thereafter it will be open to the Public. The small group of local Trustees are working hard to get everything in place, and are to be applauded for their efforts over the last couple of years. The building has been financed by the Housing and Communities Agency (HCA) and will serve as a lasting memorial to the successful stabilisation of the Combe Down Stone Mines and provide information about the geology of the area and the history of the mines. Cornerstone has also been designed with the needs of the Combe Down Community in mind. It will be the only local space run by local people for local people. Cllr CherryBeath said: "Cornerstone will provide a lasting reminder of our history and a record of the mines operation and stabilisation. It will hold Community Events and run by local people for the community." The Trustees welcome volunteers to help in manning the Centre once open, if you are interested, details of who to contact are on the poster in the window of the Centre.
