Olympic Art for Southgate

Andy Furse today paid a visit to a sculpture workshop in his ward to see the Olympic Art of Ben Dearnley, a Bath resident.

The statue will be placed in the new Southgate during May and is being sponsored by the Paralympic charity www.artattheedge.

On Street Recycling

In line with the litter bin improvements in Kingsmead Square, Cllr Andy Furse (Kingsmead LD) has now managed to get on-street re-cycling bins close to James Street West. This adds to the provision recently installed in Royal Victoria Park play area and New King Street.

 

Cllr Furse said “ although I have been pressing for On street re-cycling for many years am really pleased that the council has now found the funding and managed to get these installed”.
