Our area is divided into two constituencies, Bath covering the City of Bath and North East Somerset which covers the Somer Valley, Keynsham, Radstock and the Chew Valley. Each constituency has an MP who represents them in parliament.
In addition to this, these constituencies are divided again into Wards. These wards are represented by either 1, 2 or 3 councillors (depending on size) on Bath and North East Somerset Council.
The wards in Bath are: Abbey, Bathwick, Combe Down, Kingsmead, Lambridge, Lansdown, Lyncombe, Newbridge, Odd Down, Oldfield, Southdown, Twerton, Walcot, Westmoreland, Weston and Widcombe.
The wards in North East Somerset are: Bathavon North, Bathavon South, Bathavon West, Clutton, Chew Valley North, Chew Valley South, Farmborough, High Littleton, Keynsham North, Keynsham South, Keynsham East, Mendip, Midsomer Norton North, Midsomer Norton Redfield, Paulton, Peasedown, Publow and Whitchurch, Radstock, Saltford, Timsbury and Westfield.
