Avon & Somerset Police Reassure Residents

Avon and Somerset police wished to reassure residents tonight that despite unrest in other parts of the UK, they do not expect Bath and North East Somerset to be affected.Helen Coleville from the police said ” Avon and Somerset Police are prepared for the possibility of disorder following events in other parts of the country. Police will respond quickly and robustly to any potential disorder as we have demonstrated during our swift intervention in Bristol overnight.
