Village Green Application Approved for Newbridge Meadows

Newbridge residents and local ward Councillors Caroline Roberts and Loraine Brinkhurst MBS are celebrating the news that B&NES Council’s Regulatory Committee has this morning approved the Village Green Application for Newbridge Meadows in Bath.

Councillor Roberts (Liberal Democrat, Newbridge) said:

“I am delighted that all the hard work put in by Mr John Weston and local residents has been successful and that the land is now protected for future generations to enjoy.”

Councillor Nicholas Coombes (Liberal Democrat, Bathwick), Chairman of the Regulatory Committee commented:

“The applicants put together a very good case which was upheld by the Planning Inspector.
