Simon Allen was elected to serve Radstock in 2010, and is now the Cabinet Member for Wellbeing.
Simon lives in Radstock with his wife and two young children, who attend a local primary school.
Alongside his role as local Councillor, Simon works as a social worker with the National Autistic Society, working to improve the lives of people with autism and their carers.
Simon was elected in a by-election in July 2010 and has worked year round to support Radstock. Simon has worked with others to develop the Radstock Youth Partnership to ensure the continuation of youth work in Radstock and supported other local groups Simon is committed to listening to the community and working together to make Radstock a place we can continue to be proud of.
