Saltford's Green Belt - Manor Road latest
by Duncan Hounsell
Preserving our environment
Manor Road
The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has overturned the recommendation of the Inspector and refused planning permission for Crest-Nicholson to build a 99 house estate by Manor Road, Saltford, on Green Belt land. Liberal Democrat run B&NES Council OPPOSED this planning application and argued its case against the proposal at the planning inquiry held by the Inspector last year. The overwhelming wish of Saltford residents is for the retention of the Green Belt land around Saltford.
