Nick Coombes - Society Chair
Nick is in his second term as Society Chair, having been a member of the Lib Dem Soc since joining Bath Uni. In May 2007 he and Armand Edwards were elected as councillors for the Bathwick area. Nick has also won two 'Outstanding Contribution to the Union' awards for work with the Lib Dem Soc.

Don was elected as the first Liberal Democrat MP for Bath in 1992, defeating the then Conservative Party chairman. He is a member of the Lib Dem Shadow Cabinet for Culture, Media and Sport, playing a part in the London Olympic preparations. Don has a masters degree for Bath Uni and is a frequent visitor to campus and guest of the Lib Dem Soc.

Graham Watson MEP
Graham represents the South West region of England in the European Parliament for the Liberal Democrats. For several years he has been leader of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe, the third pargest group in the Brussels parliament. He has debated on campus with the Lib Dem Soc and hosted our trip to Brussels and the Europeam Parliament in 2006.

Councillors Armand Edwards and Nick Coombes
Armand and Nick are Bath Uni students who were elected to Bath & North East Somerset Council in May 2007. They represent Bath University campus and the residential area around it, including Bathwick Hill. Their campus, with help from the Lib Dem Soc, increased student turnout ten times. With strong support from the rest of the area too, they won convincingly against the incumbent Conservatives.
