Don Foster MP and Louise Bray
Louise Bray
In 2010 Louise was agent for Gail Coleshill in the NE Somerset parliamentary election where she substantially helped to raise the Lib Dem vote in the area against the national swing, she also served for two years on the local executive committee of the party.
She has taken part in several successful local campaigns including Save St. Martins Garden School, 20 is Plenty, against the urban extension on the Green Belt in the now defunct Regional Spatial Strategy, and protecting the Mobile Library Service... Currently she is backing the bid for an extension to the Cotswold AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) which would include three villages in the ward.
Louise is a firm believer of the value of keeping small rural schools at the heart of the communities they serve. She very much enjoys her role as Vice Chair of Governors at St Julian's Primary School, Wellow, which is in collaboration with St. Peter's Primary School Camerton.
Louise is married to Tim who works in Radstock. They live in Wellow and have three grown up children. Her background is as a voice coach and drama teacher and she is a member of The Society of Teachers of Speech and Drama and The Voice Care Network.
Louise represented Bathavon West in the Local Elections in 2007 and asks for your support in the forthcoming elections on 5th May.
