Come to the Two Tunnels Opening Party!

This Saturday is the day when the Two Tunnels Greenway finally opens to the public with a big free public festival.   It has been seven years in coming!  The Festival will take place at Bloomfield Open Space off Bloomfield.

Parking Survey completed

Halfpenny Bridge refurbishment

  The l9ng-awaited refurbishment of the Halpfpenny Bridge from Widcombe into town will start on April 1. This will involve a complete closure of the bridge for a period estimated at 3 months. However, your councillors are challenging the length.

Recycling Centre will need Residents Permits from April 2

From April 2 residents will need a special FREE permit to be able to use the Recycling Centre. This change is being introduced to lessen our costs by excluding non-residents, and it should also result in shorter waiting times to.

Widcombe Social Club

Our latest information on the Social Club is that planning approval for the revised design is expected very soon, and the developer will then be able to move in and start demolition of the old building. We are aware that.
