Your Abbey ward councillor is Manda Rigby, who was elected in 2011.

Liberal Democrat members can also join the Abbey Ward branch which has regular social meetings including the Annual Quiz.

Manda and your Abbey ward Lib Dems are fighting for the things that matter to you. Currently they are campaigning to:

1. Ensure that any solutions for the Rec take the views of residents into account and is accountable.
2. Improve Central zone residents parking as there are no single bays reserved for residents only.The Circus, Bennett Street and Russell St could benefit from these.
3. Improve the roads around Henrietta Park, especially the corner of Sutton Street and Daniel Street.
4. Stop the number of coaches that simply turn around in Russell Street and Bennett Street without stopping and so are of no economic benefit to Bath.
5. Help improve the seagull problem. Breeding season is a nightmare causing noise and nuisance. Improve the way that restaurants deal with food waste.
