Lib Dem Councillors show off their bikes

Local Liberal Democrat Councillors turned out to support the Council's Bike Week initiative this morning. The Council was providing a free breakfast for those who turned up on their bike.

Lib Dem Councillors Cherry Beath and Nicholas Coombes have pledged to attend all their meetings by bike this week, while Cllr Roger Symonds will continue to attend the majority of his via pedal power. Widcombe Cllr Ian Gilchrist has an electric bike which he uses regularly.

Bike week runs until Sunday, so if you haven't yet cycled to work this week then why not give it a try!
