There is a huge body of evidence that shows that the implimentation of 20mph limits accross residential areas in Bath would reduce the number of accidents. In addition to this, 20mph zones will reduce traffic noise, reduce pollution and encourage walking and cycling.
...I would like to see Bath become a walking and cycling city and
introducing 20mph speed limits goes a long way to encouraging this."
